We have an exciting project ahead of us to establish foundational security controls and concepts for MedSecure Health Systems. Here’s how we will approach this project, along with instructions and guidelines for each part:

Project Breakdown and Guidelines

1. Security Control Analysis Report

• Objective: Identify and categorize security controls (preventive, detective, corrective).
• Steps:
  • Research relevant security controls for the healthcare sector.
  • Identify specific controls for patient data protection and healthcare infrastructure.
  • Categorize controls and describe their implementation.

2. Fundamental Security Concepts Document

• Objective: Document key security concepts (CIA triad, AAA, Zero Trust).
• Steps:
  • Define each concept clearly.
  • Explain practical applications for MedSecure Health Systems.

3. Change Management Process Outline

• Objective: Outline a basic change management process.
• Steps:
  • Detail each step of the change management process.
  • Provide examples to illustrate the process.

4. Cryptographic Solutions Recommendation

• Objective: Recommend cryptographic solutions tailored to the client’s needs.
• Steps:
  • Research cryptographic techniques (encryption, hashing, digital signatures).
  • Select appropriate solutions and explain their implementation.

Task Assignments

To ensure fairness, we will use a spin method to assign tasks. Each member will be assigned one of the following tasks randomly:

• Encryption: 1st winner( in 2nd round)
• Hashing: 2nd winner (in 3rd round)
• Digital Signatures: 3rd winner(in 4th round)

Timeline

• Research Phase: Start from now to 10th Jun
• Drafting Phase: start from 7th to 10th Jun
• Review Meetings: every Friday and Monday
• Finalization: 15th Jun

Communication and Meetings

• We will use forum, zoom or google meet for ongoing updates.
• Kickoff Meeting: Friday 7th June 5:00 pm
• Progress Reviews: Monday and Friday
• Final Review: 15th Jun
